A Little More about me:
I’m Micaela — a Massachusetts native now living the Sonoma County /Bay Area dream. My nearly 20 year career journey in events started with concierge work and has wound me through planning hundreds of events of all kinds, nonprofit fundraising, consulting, and even wrangling preschoolers (same energy, different audience). These roles, along with a bit of cosmic guidance and patiently waiting for the time to be right, all led me to pull the trigger and ultimately create my dream business, FLOCK Gatherings.
WHY FLOCK gatherings?
I started FLOCK because whether I was planning a fundraiser for a nonprofit, a VIP birthday party, or a picture-perfect wedding it’s the moments and the people gathering in one place that matter the most. I have just as much fun planning a child’s backyard birthday party than I do a white glove business meeting at a 5 Star-hotel, so I created a business that captured all types of gatherings.
WHY should you WORK WITH ME?
I love a challenge and I love to get creative at figuring out the vibe or level of luxury you are seeking. I love to think outside the box so that every celebration feels special and no important detail is forgotten. I am postive, upbeat, and always professional, plus I can stay strangely calm in stressful situations. I continue to receive positive feedback on my work and put in a lot of effort to make sure that all my clients feel that way.
Outside of work:
When I’m not working or mothering my two wild boys, you can usually find me not sitting down, trying to sneak a quick workout in, finding an excuse to go get a coffee or local beer downtown, or trying to make my family hang outside in nature with me.
